Aptean India is looking for Associate Test Engineer who will develop and execute product test cases and automated test controls for directed software applications, solutions and services.
Candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing software Test Plans, solutions for complex problems in the current and developing products. Essential Roles and Responsibilities
Candidate should Design and develop test plans, test cases based upon functional and design specifications
Candidate must Work closely with software developers to understand product specifications and work to identify, design and enhance test plans and test cases to support releases.
Candidate must be a Holder of B.E/B.Tech Minimum Experience and Skills:
Candidate must Work with the team of QA engineers in creating test plans and test cases of assigned features.
Candidate Must have programming ability in one or more of Scripting, HTML, ASP/JSP, VBScript, JavaScript, XML, UNIX or Win32. (Highly Desirable)
Broad technical knowledge including operating system fundamentals, basic systems administration (installing and configuring operating systems and hardware), good software engineering practice, software design principles.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to read and interpret complex information.
Required Skill Sets :
Excellent analytical skills and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
Be able to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.
Be able to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and raise concerns/questions where appropriate.
Identifies the best industry practices and implements in the engagements.
Define project standards, knowledge of methodologies, and understanding of process improvement initiatives.
Good general understanding of information technology (IT).
Ability to chart one’s own career and build networks within the organization.
